An international financial institution active in private and wealth banking is looking for an experienced Director Wealth Banking to lead a high-performing client advisory team in Brussels.
This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on relationship management. You will coach senior wealth professionals, strengthen commercial growth, and manage a portfolio of high-net-worth clients while contributing to long-term regional development.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of experienced Wealth Bankers
- Manage and grow a portfolio of high-net-worth clients through tailored financial advice
- Drive commercial performance and identify new growth opportunities
- Strengthen collaboration across banking and investment departments
- Ensure operational excellence, compliance, and strong risk awareness
Must have
- Strong experience within wealth management or private banking
- Proven leadership and team coaching experience
- Excellent relationship management and commercial skills
- Strategic mindset with strong stakeholder management abilities
- Fluent in Dutch and French, with strong English communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience managing senior client portfolios
- Existing network within the Belgian wealth banking market
- Knowledge of investment and financial planning solutions
- Entrepreneurial mindset with business development capabilities
