This is a newly created role, positioned at the intersection of operations, finance, and risk. You will take ownership of the insurance landscape across several European markets, ensuring that complex assets are adequately protected while supporting the business in making informed decisions.

Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize the insurance portfolio across multiple European entities
- Act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders across operations, finance, and support functions
- Collaborate closely with external brokers and insurers to ensure appropriate coverage and conditions
- Handle and follow up on claims, including coordination and resolution
- Contribute to the development and improvement of insurance processes, policies, and structures
Must have
- Relevant experience in insurance, risk management, or a related field
- Strong understanding of insurance frameworks and policies
- Experience in claims handling and interaction with brokers or insurers
- Ability to navigate complexity and engage with multiple stakeholders
- Fluent in Dutch with a strong professional command of English
Nice to have
- Experience within real estate or asset-heavy environments
- Exposure to property, liability, or project-related insurance
- Familiarity with prevention, procurement, or risk mitigation topics
- Experience in an international or multi-entity context
- Working knowledge of French
