Are you an experienced investment professional ready to combine portfolio management with people leadership?
We're looking for a Team Lead Portfolio Management who enjoys coaching experienced professionals while remaining closely involved in investment advisory and portfolio management. In this role, you'll help drive commercial growth, support high-net-worth clients and contribute to the continued success of an established private banking environment.
You'll balance strategic thinking, client focus and leadership while working alongside investment experts and senior stakeholders across the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and support a team of experienced Portfolio Managers in their professional development and day-to-day operations.
- Manage and advise investment portfolios in line with client objectives, risk profiles and internal investment guidelines.
- Monitor financial markets, macroeconomic developments and investment strategies to provide high-quality advice.
- Build trusted, long-term relationships with clients while identifying opportunities to further strengthen their investment portfolio.
- Collaborate closely with private banking colleagues and other internal stakeholders to achieve commercial and service excellence.
Must have
- Strong knowledge of financial markets, investment products and portfolio management.
- Proven experience advising or managing investment portfolios for affluent or private banking clients.
- Demonstrated leadership or coaching experience within a financial environment.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
- A commercial mindset combined with a strong focus on client satisfaction.
Nice to have
- Experience within Private Banking or Wealth Management.
- Strong understanding of asset allocation and investment risk management.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary stakeholder groups.
- Interest in macroeconomic and geopolitical developments.
- Fluency in the primary language of your region (Dutch or French), with a good working knowledge of English.
