Director Private Banking — Région Liège

For a leading international financial institution, we are looking for an experienced Director Private Banking to lead and further develop the private banking activities in the Liège region.
This role combines strategic leadership, commercial development and relationship management. You will guide a team of private bankers, strengthen client relationships and contribute to the long term growth of the regional business.

Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop a team of private bankers in the Liège region
- Drive commercial growth by expanding and strengthening a high value client portfolio
- Build long term relationships with entrepreneurs, executives and affluent private clients
- Translate strategic objectives into regional business initiatives and measurable results
- Collaborate closely with internal specialists across investments, lending and estate planning
Must have
- Strong experience in private banking or wealth management
- Proven leadership experience within a commercial financial environment
- Strong relationship management and business development skills
- Excellent communication skills in French and strong professional English
- Strategic mindset combined with hands on leadership capabilities
Nice to have
- Experience managing complex investment or wealth structures
- Existing regional network within the Liège business community
- Experience in a large international banking environment
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks within private banking
- Additional language skills such as Dutch
