Sales Associate – Debt Advisory

Our client is an independent advisory firm specialised in financing solutions and debt advisory for mid-sized and corporate businesses. The team supports organisations in navigating complex funding questions and works closely with management teams, banks and non-bank lenders to build sustainable financing solutions.

As Sales Associate – Debt Advisory, your main focus is on developing new client relationships and identifying financing opportunities in the market. You actively approach companies, build trusted relationships with decision-makers and open conversations around refinancing, liquidity and strategic financing needs. Together with senior colleagues, you help translate these opportunities into high-quality advisory mandates.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities within the Belgian mid-corporate market
  • Build relationships with CEOs, CFOs and business leaders to identify financing needs
  • Initiate conversations around debt advisory, refinancing and liquidity solutions
  • Support senior advisors in preparing client meetings and financing proposals
  • Contribute to the growth and visibility of the advisory practice through networking and market outreach

Must have

  • At least 5 years of experience within corporate banking, credit services, advisory or B2B relationship management
  • Strong commercial mindset with confidence in building new client relationships
  • Interest in finance, debt advisory and strategic business discussions
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, with a professional level of French
  • Entrepreneurial, proactive and relationship-oriented personality

Nice to have

  • Experience in a commercial finance, business banking or debt advisory environment
  • Existing network within the Belgian business landscape
  • Affinity with financing structures or corporate lending
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Motivation to grow towards a more strategic advisory role over time
